well, besides the impossibly cute baby Andrew - photographing newborns! I have photographed babies here and there, but never really tried approaching it much different than any other children's shoot. So, I've been dying to try out some ideas I have for them and this week was my first opportunity to give it a go and I couldn't be happier with the results of this first effort. Of course, Andrew was a perfect little model for me. I have some other shoots and weddings to process, but I just got so excited about some of these, I wanted to share a quick little one. Thanks Katie and Albie for trusting me with your new little one! More to come in a week or so...

Kari and I have been on some great adventures together - experiencing London, Ireland, France, Italy and rooming together after our study abroad program. No matter how long we go without chatting, we can always pick right up where we left off. Kari is starting a new adventure with her hubby, Jason - parenthood! I was so happy to spend a couple days at the beach house with the girls. Crappy weather kept us from having playtime at the beach, but we managed to get out there for a quick portrait session. Hopefully when I see them again (next week) the weather will cooperate a little more! Here are some of my favorites of my girls...

I've taken forever to hang these images from Sandy and Allen's shoot at Eastern State Penitentiary. I printed these images on Fine Art paper - very much like a watercolor paper, and framed them without glass so you can really see the paper quality. The printing is so yummy! Anyway, here is the wall collection from the shoot. It's looks so much better hanging than propped up against the wall. Don't mind the awful lighting, they look so much better in person, but you get the idea though :)

I'm finally getting around to posting my last yoga portrait session with Elle Kaplan. Elle came up with some really great poses utilizing our abandoned train car! How she fit into some of these spots is beyond me. I am so inspired by each and every one of these instructors in both their practice and their spirit. Enjoy!

I'm pretty sure David Pittenger doesn't take a bad yoga picture. Long time blog readers will remember some of the brilliant tandem yoga postures David did here back in 2006. Check out some of these new images of David.
