When not shooting a wedding of my own, I've been quite busy second shooting this season with some fellow friends and colleagues. I've been able to tag along on a bunch of Ryan Estes's weddings this summer and we have a few more this fall I'll be working on for him. Here are a few of my favorites from Jennifer and Ryan's wedding! They actually had a Mister Softee ice cream truck come out for all their guests!

So, I'm finally starting to blog some weddings from this season. This whole summer has seemed to revolve around portraits on the blog! Amy and Josh were married at the spectacular Masonic Temple in Philadelphia. I think this place is one of Philly's best kept secrets for both weddings and architecture! The place was amazing. The ceremony was followed by a ridiculously fun reception at The Loews Hotel right around the corner in downtown Philadelphia. Amy and Josh just ooze cool, I just love 'em! Not to mention they have fabulous taste in music! Here are some of my favs from the day...

I've been busy, busy, busy the last month or so. Getting around to blogging more images I've been busy making with portraits and weddings. Lots more stuff to come in the coming weeks. First up, a tiny teaser from Amy and Josh's wedding at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia. Can't wait to share some more details and images from this wonderful day!

I had the pleasure of attending a networking event a few weeks back at a brand spankin' new venue in Philadelphia - The Chestnut Club at Arcadia Theatre. This venue is perfect for couples looking for a hip place for a cocktail reception or small seated reception in downtown Philadelphia.
A little about the history, from the website "The Arcadia Theatre opened April 24, 1915 as a first run movie theatre with the movie "The High Road" and prices of 15c for matinee and 25c for evening shows."
"Today you will find the upper portion of the former auditorium, now a second floor, still retains the ornate decor including the upper portion of the proscenium arch and a ceiling dome."
Check out their website and their blog to see some images and view more information. I can't wait to shoot a wedding there!

I love your portraits of the bride, they are beautiful. But my favorite shot is of the couple under the tree kissing, great composition!

I just realized I've never posted highlights or the slideshow from Sam and Pete's wedding this past fall. With wedding season kicking into full gear shortly, I thought I'd better get my butt in gear! Sam and Pete got married at the Historic Waynesborough in Paoli, PA. It started and ended as a rainy day, but we lucked out with some beautiful weather long enough for pictures and an outdoor ceremony! Sam was a total trooper going anywhere I wanted in the wet grass - before the ceremony! Don't worry, we didn't dirty her dress. Always up for anything I envisioned, they were truly a wonderful couple to work with.

Jenn Greg were married in June at The Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia. Luckily the rain held out and they were able to have their ceremony in the great little courtyard adjacent to the hotel. I loved the way they set up the ceremony, it allowed us to shoot at every angle imaginable! Big thumbs up to the Four Seasons! The flowers were gorgeous by Evantine Design, so much so, that there was almost a stampede of guest at the end of the night who got to take home the arrangements! Here are some highlights...
