Brittany + Dan – Valley Forge Engagement Photography

Brittany and Dan and I got quite a workout for their beloved engagement session. We met up at Vally Forge Park on a hot summer day. None of use being familiar with the park, we opted to walk around with a general idea of where we wanted to go. Little did we know just how huge the park is and we were only able to walk about one third the distance we originally thought before sunset! None of that mattered though as we found plenty of spots to have some fun along the way and even saw about a dozen deer pretty close up! I so enjoyed getting to know this sweet couple during our long walk around the park and can’t wait to see them again soon!

Jasmine + Aidan

Jasmine and Aidan are one of my couples who are high school sweethearts. I love to see couples who make the transition from school to building a life together. Jasmine is also cousins with one of my oldest friends from camp growing up! These two are self proclaimed photographically awkward, but I think they are adorable. Can’t wait for the wedding!

Kate + Kevin – Bucks County Beloved Engagement

Kate and Kev are another one of my couples this year I didn’t get to meet until after they booked their wedding with me. These two free spirits currently live in Belgium and really emphasize that their home is not a building that holds their belongings, it in their hearts with each other. I really enjoyed getting to know them during their beloved engagement session and hearing their story of how they fell in love. Lots more to come from their wedding, but for now, here is a peak of their engagement session!

Sarah + Jason

Now that my new sites are launched, I’m starting to get caught up with blogging! I have a lot of weddings and beloved sessions to share. First up, Srah and Jason’s wedding! Sarah and Jason booked me while finishing school out in Pittsburgh, and I didn’t get to meet them until several months later. We had a chance to grab lunch together one day at one of my favorite places downtown and had some yummy food and good conversation. I’m pretty sure these two must never sleep because they are always busy running, biking, doing triathlons, and any other kind of game or physical activity you can imagine! One the wedding day, I got a little unexpected surprise during the processional. The lovely Priscilla Ahn played a couple of songs and her voice is just as beautiful in person as her album!

Sarah and Jason will soon be moving again out of the area and judging from all the love I witnessed between their families, I know they will be greatly missed. Here is a glimpse of their day. How cute is Sarah when she crinkles her nose when she smiles?

Lisa & Brett – Bucks County wedding photography

I’ve been holding out on a bunch of posts thinking my new blog was going to be up and running way before now, but everything always seems to take longer than you want it to. One of those posts that’s been sitting as a draft for seemingly forever is Lisa and Brett’s wedding. I’ve known Brett and his family since we were kids and it was such a joy to be part of their day. Britt + Mike – LA beloved engagement session

Britt and Mike were my wedding contest winners from last year. I finally got to meet them in the flesh after almost a year of correspondence, just a couple days before their LA wedding. You may know Britt from her hilarious wedding blog The Bowie Bride where she has humorously documented her wedding planning experience and love for all things David Bowie! These two were everything I had imagined and more. They bring so much passion to life, love, and laughter.
