I did A LOT of shooting in California. My goal was to come away with some landscapes that didn't look like what you see on a postcard. So, to heck with f22 on a lens to get everything in focus! I get too much dust on my sensor for that anyway, hehe. Instead, for most of my shooting, I went with one of my favorite lenses at the moment- my tilt shift lens. I love this lens because it a.) slows me down shooting and b.) I love that yummy softness it creates. So here is one part of many from California. I bring you Alcatraz!

Nicole - these are real cool. I dig the shift lens perspective quite a bit. What is the focal length of this lens you have? I am considering buying one for my Nikon system and I know Nikon just came out with two versions of it.

While in Avalon, Marissa and I took some time to get some yoga images. She recently got all her certs to teach and we are putting together some stuff for her biz identity. Here are some of my favorite images and poses.

A few weeks ago I got to head down to Avalon, NJ to shoot the Paino family. I shot Alex almost 3 years ago, it's hard to believe how big he is now and how smart he is! Many of you may recognize him from some samples I have laying around and I can't tell you how many times people have asked if he was my child! Hehe...No relation, but he is a cutie! Here are a few from our session at the beach.
